    7. Use Enlighten reflections

    Dec 22, 2020

The level contains Sphere Reflection Capture actors that provide local reflections.

By default, local reflections aren't updated when the lighting changes in-game. Let's enable real time updates with Enlighten so the local reflections match the lighting.

    1. Select all the Sphere Reflection Capture actors.
    2. In the Details panel, under Enlighten, enable Use Enlighten.

After we run the Enlighten precompute in the next part of the tutorial, local reflections will match the lighting when it changes in-game. Reflections will be explained in more detail in a future tutorial.
