    The Scene tab allows you to load a scene into GeoRadiosity and to control which data is loaded with the scene.

    Load scene

    Load a .scene file. The axes specification in the scene definition is applied as a rendering permutation such that scenes from other sources can be visualised with the correct orientation.

    Load reference radiosity data

    There are multiple runtime solvers available on the Windows platform. If you want to view output from the reference solver then you must choose this data when loading the scene.

    Load mesh projection data

    Load mesh projection visualisation data with the scene. This checkbox must be selected for the Atlas renderer mode to be available on the Rendering tab.

    Load clustering data

    Load clustering visualisation data with the scene. This checkbox must be selected for the Cluster renderer to be available on the Rendering tab.

    Include console targets

    Create console textures when loading the scene. Enable this if the precompute data is to be used on console platforms, otherwise leave it disabled for faster precomputes.

    Include mobile targets

    Create mobile textures when loading the scene. Enable this if the precompute data is to be used on iOS or Android, otherwise leave it disabled for faster precomputes.

    Optimise scene

    Precompute the scene with instances grouped into systems of the size defined by the Voxel size slider.

    Voxel size

    Voxel size in the units of pixel size. Set to 0 to force the precompute to read this parameter from the .paramset file.

    Max dependent sys distance

    Max distance in pixel size units between systems for them to be considered dependent. Set this to 0 to make all systems independent of each other. If enabled the distance between bounding box centres is evaluated, otherwise the actual distance between the bounding boxes is considered.

    Refine estimate

    If enabled further stages in the precompute will refine the system dependency estimation by additional ray casting, otherwise the system dependencies will be final.

    Extract from cache

    Extract a scene from precompute output files. See the Debugging section in the Lua Bindings reference.

    Reload all

    Reload the last scene, light configuration and/or environment light. If you have not yet loaded a scene, this loads the last scene you opened the last time you ran GeoRadiosity. If you have never loaded a scene into GeoRadiosity, this option is hidden.
